1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Discord Bot Creator, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Use License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to create and deploy Discord bots using our platform. This license does not include the right to modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the platform itself, its underlying code, AI models, or proprietary tools. You must comply with Discord's Developer Terms of Service at all times. We reserve the right to revoke this license at any time for violations of these Terms.
3. User-Generated Content License
By creating, uploading, or publishing any content on Discord Bot Creator — including but not limited to bot configurations, scripts, command logic, descriptions, names, and associated media ("User Content") — you grant Discord Bot Creator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, modify, and create derivative works of your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the platform. This includes displaying your User Content on community pages, template galleries, marketing materials, social media, and any other platform features. For clarity, you retain full ownership of the original logic and ideas behind your creations — this license only covers how we may present and share your content within and in promotion of the platform. This license survives termination of your account. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
4. Content Visibility & Sharing
You acknowledge and agree that any bot configurations, templates, scripts, or other content you create or publish on Discord Bot Creator may be made publicly visible. This includes, without limitation, display on community pages, featured templates galleries, "made with Discord Bot Creator" showcases, and promotional materials. While you retain ownership of the original logic you describe, the presentation, display, and sharing of that content on our platform is governed by the license you grant in Section 3 above. If you do not wish for your content to be publicly visible, do not publish it to any community or public feature on the platform. Content set to "private" will not be publicly displayed, but may still be used internally to improve our services.
5. Intellectual Property
The Discord Bot Creator platform, including its design, code, AI models, branding, logos, documentation, and all related technology, is the exclusive property of MATO and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any platform materials without our express written consent. You retain ownership of the original logic and ideas you describe to the AI. However, the generated code, templates, and outputs produced by our AI tools are provided under your Use License (Section 2) and are subject to the content license you grant in Section 3. If you choose to share feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the platform, we may use them to improve our services without any compensation obligation, though we always appreciate your contributions.
6. DMCA & Copyright Takedown
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on our platform in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may submit a takedown request by contacting us with the following information: (a) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) the URL or location of the infringing material on our platform; (c) your contact information including name, email address, and phone number; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We will review all valid requests and respond within 10 business days. We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Discord Bot Creator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the uptime, reliability, or performance of any bots deployed through the platform. Your use of the platform is at your sole risk.
8. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Discord Bot Creator, MATO, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your use of or inability to use the platform; (b) unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or bot tokens; (c) any conduct or content of any third party on the platform; (d) any content obtained from the platform; or (e) downtime, bugs, or errors in deployed bots. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. User Conduct
You agree to use Discord Bot Creator responsibly and lawfully. You shall not: (a) create bots that violate Discord's Terms of Service or Developer Terms; (b) engage in harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior through bots created on our platform; (c) distribute malware, spyware, or any other harmful code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, bots, or data; (e) use the platform to engage in any illegal activity; (f) scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract content from the platform; (g) impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation; (h) interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure; or (i) use the platform to send unsolicited messages (spam) through Discord bots. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including account termination, for any violation of these rules.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Discord Bot Creator, MATO, and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights; or (e) any bot you create or deploy using the platform. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your account and these Terms.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to: violation of these Terms, violation of Discord's policies, fraudulent or illegal activity, non-payment of subscription fees, or extended inactivity. Upon termination: (a) your license to use the platform is immediately revoked; (b) all bots deployed through the platform will be shut down; (c) you remain liable for all obligations incurred prior to termination; and (d) the content license you granted in Section 3 survives termination. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We are not obligated to provide refunds upon termination.
12. Data & Content Retention
Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal profile data within 30 days. However, you acknowledge that: (a) User Content that has been shared publicly, used in templates, or displayed on community pages may remain on the platform under the license granted in Section 3; (b) anonymized or aggregated data derived from your usage may be retained indefinitely for analytics and platform improvement; (c) backup copies of your data may persist in our systems for up to 90 days after deletion; and (d) we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention. If you wish to request complete removal of specific content, you may submit a request through our contact page, and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.
13. Governing Law & Changes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
